Tan bun an and siti fatimah (happy ending)
Tan Bun An, is the son of a Chinese merchant from China who fell in love with Siti Fatimah, the king's daughter during the Sriwijaya era. At that time, Tan Bun An invited Siti Fatimah to go to China to visit her parents. After some time in China, Tan Bun An and Siti Fatimah returned to Palembang and were given 7 jars. Arriving at the Musi river, which is currently the location of Kemaro Island, Tan Bun An opened the jar which turned out to be filled with vegetables. Tan Bun An had thought about throwing the jar into the Musi river, but Siti Fatimah said we better make sure what was in it first.
